Traffic in downtown and far east Emporia was briefly delayed Friday after issues with railroad signage.
Crossing arms at the Commercial and Weaver Street crossings were stuck in the down position across both streets for about 20 minutes shortly before 11 am but are now working normally.
Burlington Northern Santa Fe has not specified why the arms got stuck.
