The Basketball Tournament Wichita Regional begins play Thursday. The tournament features teams made up of former college and pro players.
The Wichita regional features the Aftershocks – a team made up of former Wichita State players including Cleanthony Early, Connor Frankamp, Shaq Morris and Toure Murray.
Self Made – a team of former Kansas Jayhawks including Perry Ellis, Tyshawn Taylor, Naadir Tharpe, Travis Releford, and Landon Lucas.
Purple and Black – a team of former Kansas State players including DJ Johnson, Shane Southwell, Justin Edwards and Thomas Gipson.
Thursdays schedule has Self Made playing Sideline Cancer at 6pm.
That game will be followed by the Aftershocks playing Iowa United.
Purple and Black play their first game Friday night against team Colorado.
All games will be played at Koch Arena on the Wichita State Campus.
The TBT is a 64 team tournament with the teams playing for 2 million dollars.
