Lyon County welcomes Ryan Janzen as the new Lyon County Appraiser.
Ryan Janzen will be replacing Gary Stapp, the former Lyon County Appraiser who retired this May, after 10 years in the role and a 30 years career in county government.
Janzen graduated from Ottawa University in 2009 with degrees in both Accounting and Business Administration. Janzen comes from a background in construction and has past experience as field appraiser in Merriam County.
Currently, Janzen plans to support the residents of Lyon Co to the full extent of his ability and the law. In September, he plans on attending the 2019 Annual International Conference on Assessment Administration to present ideas about county collaboration.
