Two more Gold Medals were won at the Sunflower State games by Emporians over the weekend.
Taryn West finished in 1st place for her age group in the cross country race. She finished 21st overall. Miranda Taylor finished in 3rd place for her age group and 40th overall.
The 5th Grade Emporia Hornets boys basketball team finished in 1st place.
Also in basketball the Emporia Warriors finished in 3rd place in the 3/4 grade division.
The Emporia girls 3rd grade team finished in 4th place.
