Emporia golfers Gentry Scheve and Colton Massey have been eliminated from match play at the 109th Kansas Amateur Golf Championship being played at Overland Parks Milburn Country Club.
Scheve finished in 61st place at plus 6 and Massey finished in 63rd place at plus 7 in stroke play to qualify for match play.
Gentry was defeated by Shaun Campbell of New Zealand 2 and 1 in match play. Campbell finished in 4th place in stroke play.
Colton Massey was defeated by Andy Spencer of Prairie Village 4 and 3 in match play. Spencer finished in 2nd place in stroke play.
