Lyon County Engineer Chip Woods says residents should not expect to see repair work on the Lyon County Road network completed any time soon.
Woods reports the most recent round of local flooding — which was the fifth round in recent months — was not as devastating as the previous four. He says, however, due to many roads being damaged on multiple occasions and a significant amount of repair work remaining work may not be completed until after 2019.
Woods adds the frequent number of repeated road closures has not done much to help with repair efforts.
