The Emporia A American Legion baseball team was eliminated from zone tournament play Sunday by Chanute.
Chanute out scored Post 5 13-0. Post 5 was hit less in the game but did leave the bases loaded in the 4th inning. Coach Cory Shovick called it a tough luck loss.
Their season came to an end with a 12-17 record.
The Emporia Senior Legion is scheduled to play a doubleheader at Newton Monday night. Its the final doubleheader before zone tournament play begins later this week.
