Rain totals varied widely across parts of the KVOE listening area Tuesday.
The KVOE studios got 0.60 inches from a thunderstorm complex that essentially died as it crossed town. Other totals:
*East Emporia: 0.10 inches
*Southeast Emporia: 0.60 inches
*South Emporia: 1.2 inches
*West Emporia: 0.40 inches
*Emporia Municipal Airport: no measurable precipitation
*Southwest Lyon County: 1.5 inches with small hail
*Toledo: 0.90 inches
Area rivers remain well within their banks after that rainfall.
