Summer shows at the Emporia State University Peterson Planetarium are set to begin this weekend.
Starting on Sunday, ESU will host a week of planetarium shows, one every day until Saturday, July 13. Outgoing Interim Supervisor Scott Capes previews the upcoming series of shows.
Seven of the 30 available selections will be played as stated:
- Sunday – Super Volcanoes
- Monday – Flight Adventures
- Tuesday – Seeing!
- Wednesday – Cell! Cell! Cell!
- Thursday – Two Small Pieces of Glass
- Friday – Escher’s Universe
- Saturday – Cosmic Colors – An Adventure Along the Spectrum
Each of the shows will begin at 5:00 pm and are all free to the public, but donations are encouraged. Reservations are encouraged as these showings are predicted to fill up quickly.
