Toronto trounced the Kansas City Royals 11-4 Monday afternoon.
The Blue Jays blew the game open with a 5 run 2nd inning. They led 8-0 before the Royals scored 3 runs in the 4th inning. Manager Ned Yost said what happed Monday was the result of to many mistakes by the pitchers.
The Royals return to Kansas City for a 3 game series with Cleveland beginning Tuesday.
