Lebo goes all out with its Stars and Stripes Celebration on Saturday

Lebo celebrated Independence Day early with their Stars and Stripes Celebration this weekend.

The day featured events through the day including sports tournaments, free swimming, lawn mower races, a parade, a concert and a fireworks show.

The parade had both Ogden and Broadway Street packed with people cheering as trucks and floats made by local families passed through.

Later in the evening, the band Downward Spiral held their fourth performance down in Lebo singing rock and roll classics like Jet Airliner.

Saturday’s portion of the celebration ended with the fireworks show.

Sunday’s activities will include the Bob Ellis Memorial Tractor Pull, Lebo American Legion Bingo, and a free swim.
