Emporia has been selected to host the USA Track and Field Region 9 Junior Olympic Outdoor Track & Field Championship meet July 4-7.
The meet will bring between 900 and 1100 youth from Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma between the ages of eight and 18 with their families to Emporia for the four day meet.
The meet will be held at Emporia States Welch Stadium, Zola Witten Track.
