After taking Thursday off the Kansas City Royals begin a 4 game series in Toronto with the Blue Jays Friday.
Danny Duffy will be on the mound for the Royals with first pitch set for 6:07p.
Royals third baseman Hunter Dozier finished in 2nd place in the final voting for the All-Star game starters. Dozier finished behind Houston Astros 3rd baseman Alex Bregman.
Dozier and Whit Merrifield still have a chance to be named as reserves for the All-Star game.
The reserves will be announced on Sunday.
