Emporia State mens basketball Coach Craig Doty is losing one of his assistant Coaches. Tyler Bredehoeft has been named the next Head Mens Basketball Coach at Rock Valley College.
That’s the same Junior College where Coach Doty won 2 national championships. Current Emporia State assistant Coach Evan Lavery was also the head mens coach at Rock Valley for 2 seasons. Coach Bredehoeft said the success of both Coach Doty and Coach Lavery at Rock Valley made it an attractive job.
Coach Bredehoeft said spending last season at Emporia State was a very good career move.
Coach Bredehoeft takes over at team that was 25-7 and was the NJCAA Division III national runner up.
