A Topeka man was hurt in a crash in northeast Lyon County on Sunday morning.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 46-year-old Mark Wiesinger was driving a van southbound on the Kansas Turnpike when it hydroplaned in wet conditions just after 7 am near the Admire-Council Grove-Osage City exit at mile marker 147. The van struck the center barrier wall.
Wiesinger was taken by ambulance to Newman Regional Health with suspected minor injuries. He was wearing his seatbelt and was the only person in the van at the time of the crash.
