Street rehabilitation continues with five separate work zones this week in Emporia.
City Clerk Kerry Sull says street milling and asphalt work has started on Market between Sixth and Eighth. Meanwhile, work continues on:
*East 10th from Sunrise to Weaver
*East Wilman Court from Rural to 18th
*Donelson Drive from Homewood to the cul-de-sac
*Whilden from East Highway 50 to Linn
Once concrete work is completed and cured with these sites, the contractor will begin the milling-and-overlay process on West 12th from Lincoln to Prairie.
The city is asking drivers for patience and caution with work continuing in these areas.
