Symphony in the Flint Hills has all the plans lined up for their signature event coming up this weekend.
The mission of Symphony in the Flint Hills is to heighten the knowledge and appreciation of the Flint Hills Tallgrass Prairie. This signature event culminates everything the organization does in the name of their mission.
Director of Engagement Gwen Obermeyer gives the timeline for Saturday’s event.
The theme for the event this year is ‘Ad Astra’ or as it translates, ‘To The Stars.’ The events are weaved into the day to celebrate a unique sight in the Flint Hills, being able to see the Milky Way.
