Detroit was leading 2-0 on two solo home runs after 6 innings.
In the 7th Ryan O’Hearn hit a solo home run, into the fountains, to get the Royals on the scoreboard.
In the 8th inning Adalberto Mondesi scored on a Jorge Soler double. Terrence Gore, pinch ran for Soler, scored on a Cheslor Cuthbert blop single.
Royals Starter Jakob Junis lasted 7 innings giving up 2 runs on 5 hits with 5 strikeouts. Scott Barlow earned the win pitching a scoreless 8th and Ian Kennedy picked up his 5th save after a 1-2-3 9th.

The Royals had uniforms, gloves, shoes and jackets stolen prior to game. Royals wore Brewers road uniforms. Brewers Jerry Augustine threw a seven hit, 4-0 shutout.
