The Kansas Junior Amateur Golf Championship is being played in Wellington.
After Tuesdays first round Emporian Gentry Scheve is tied for 4th place after a 2 over par 72. He is tied for 2nd place in the 17 year old age group. Emporian Caleb Schmidt is tied for 67th place after an 82. Caleb is tied for 23rd place in the 17 year old age group. Justin Kohlman of Cottonwood Falls in tied for 79th after an 84 first round. He is tied for 15th place in the 18 year old division.
Round 2 will be played Wednesday.
After Wednesdays play a cut will be maked to the 15 lowest scores and ties in each age group.
The final round will be played Thursday.
