Brief heavy rain fell on the KVOE listening area Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning, although overall totals aren’t major.
Current totals include:
*KVOE studios: 1.25 inches
*East Emporia: 1.75 inches
*West Emporia: 1.3 inches
*Emporia Municipal Airport: 0.53 inches
*Allen: 0.60 inches
*Americus: 1 inch
*Between Hartford and Olpe: 0.60 inches
So far, the rain has not contributed to any flash flooding or river flooding, and flooding appears unlikely after this round of rainfall.
