The Emporia Senior American Legion baseball team remains undefeated in the Sam Ellis Classic.
Saturday the Post 5 Seniors run ruled Belle Plain 17-2 to win all 3 pool play games. Post 5 scored 5 runs in the first inning. Added 4 runs in the 2nd and ended the game with 8 runs in the 3rd inning. Beau Baumgardner was 3 for 3 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI.
The Emporia Senior Legion plays the Kansas Senators in the semi-finals with first pitch at 10am Sunday morning.
The other semi-final has Hays playing the Wichita Aviators at noon.
The winners of the semi-final games will play in the championship game at 2pm. All games will be played at Sodens Grove.
