Madison is celebrating it’s 30th annual Madison Days starting Friday and ending on Sunday.
Madison days is an annual celebration held on the second weekend of June and is three days worth of festivities. Some of the activities happening over the Madison Days weekend include a parade, 5k, free swim, food, live music, and a hog roast.
Madison will be doing something new with the parade this year by making it stationary. Madison Days Committee Member Mark Adams explains why the committee has decided on this new kind of parade.
The Madison Days events start on Friday with the free swim at noon and end on Sunday with the golf tournament that starts at 9 am.
