3 Emporians played the Kansas Junior Golf Association Tour event at Hesston Tuesday.
Caleb Schmid tied for first place in the 16 and over division finishing with a 1 under par 70. Brooks Sauder tied for 12th place in the 14-15 age group with a 89.
Hudson Sauder finished in 2nd place in the 12-13 age group with a 90.
The 3 golfers played in Mondays event at Newton. Caleb Schmid tied for 11th place with a 85. Brooks Sauder finished in 10th place with a 93 and Hudson Sauder finished in 5th place with a 98.
The KJGA Tour Championship will be played at the Emporia Golf Course July 8th and 9th.
The Optimist State Junior Golf tournament is scheduled to be played at the Emporia Golf Course this Saturday.
