A Butler County man suffered suspected serious injuries during a motorcycle crash in eastern Greenwood County on Friday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 73-year-old Dean Winters of Towanda was eastbound on US Highway 54 about a mile east of Neal and 11 miles east of Eureka when the crash happened around 10:15 am. A deer apparently ran across the highway and hit the motorcycle.
Winters was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Wichita for treatment afterward. The hospital has not released his condition.
