Title changes and financial updates highlighted the Flint Hills Community Health Center Board of Directors meeting on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the board approved changes to the health center’s Organizational Chart. The chart details specific positions and job descriptions throughout the center.
During the process, some titles were altered, repositioned or ultimately removed. FHCHC CEO Renee Hively explains this is a standard house cleaning procedure.
Hively adds, no staff will be affected by these changes as each of the removed titles were vacant. On top of the approved changes board members also received the monthly financial report.
According to the report, April saw a net gain of nearly $70,000 which brings the year to date total to $110,000. Days cash on hand also increased to 64 days which administrators attribute to the health center’s turnaround plan.
The board also received reports from the dental, psychiatry and medical clinics. Overall numbers were up for April with the psychiatry clinic seeing an increase of 75 patients more compared to April 2018.
The board also heard the monthly CQI report, held discussions on credentialing and had one executive session. Frannie Brooks was also appointed as the newest member to the board of directors.
The board will next meet Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at the health center.
