Lyon County deputies are investigating after an ATV was reported as abandoned late last week.
Deputies say they got a call of an ATV parked in a field and left behind Friday. A witness says a white female left the ATV and was later picked up by somebody driving a dark-colored 2000s-model Jeep Liberty with tinted windows and a spare tire rack on the rear hatch.
Deputies believe the ATV was stolen and ditched. Investigators are combing through security video among other parts of the investigation.
