Details are scarce following an accident involving a semi and a gas pump at the Flying J Truck Stop in far west Emporia Monday evening.
Emergency crews responded to a report of a gas pump being struck by a semi truck at the truck stop around 6:40 pm Monday. The cause of the accident and resulting damages are currently pending, however, the Emporia Fire Department tells KVOE News it does not appear any fuel was leaking from the pump.
