Emporia High diver Haylee Weiss remains in 2nd place going into Saturdays finals at the 5-1A State meet. She is just over 15 points out of first place. Cadance Vincent moved up to 10th place and Karalyn Karjala is in 13th place.
Emporia High senior Ashlyn Alingh just missed qualifying for a 2nd swim in the 50 free at the 5-1A State swim meet yesterday
She finished in 17th place missing the cut by 15 hundreths of a second. She did finish with a season best time. Alingh also finished in 21st place in the 100 butterfly.
Kaylen Hart finished in 24th place in the 200 free and in 21st place in the 500 free. Hailey Williams finished in 22nd place in the 500 free.
The 200 free relay team of Emily Leihsing, Kaylen Hart, Ashlyn Alingh and Hailey Williams finished in 22nd place with a season best time.
The 400 free relay team of Hailey Williams, Emily Leihsing, Kaylen Hart and Ashlyn Alingh finished in 22nd place. They also finished with a season best time.
