The Texas Rangers routed the Kansas City Royals 16-1 Thursday afternoon.
The Royals scored a run in the 1st inning to take a 1-0 lead.
Texas tied the game in the 4th inning and then scored 5 runs in the 5th to begin the rout. Texas wins the series 2 games to 1. Royals Manager Ned Yost says they need to start playing better.
The Royals travel to California to take on the Angels Friday night.
