A woman who pleaded to an aggravated kidnapping charge this year will spend over a dozen years in prison.
Stacy Steen was sentenced this week in Lyon County District Court. Besides spending 12 years, three months in prison, she will also have 36 months of postrelease supervision.
Steen and two co-defendants, Will Anderson and Ivan Murillo, were both charged last fall after a person reported being kidnapped, robbed and beaten in east Emporia last September. Anderson was convicted last month on a single count of aggravated kidnapping, two counts of aggravated battery, two counts of theft and single counts of robbery, burglary and drug possession.
Co-defendant Ivan Murillo has a pretrial hearing June 19 on kidnapping, robbery and burglary charges.
A third co-defendant, Brandon Villa, is set for a preliminary hearing at 2 pm Monday on kidnapping charges. Villa was formally charged earlier this year.
