Strong storms developed south of Emporia, but they did not reach severe limits and stayed to our south overnight.
Storms prompted two severe thunderstorm warnings for Greenwood County, reflecting a risk of quarter-sized hail and 60 mph winds. The Greenwood County Emergency Management Department has not issued any reprots of severe weather at this time.
