The Copper Top was filled with excited audience members who came to watch the band Whiskey for the Lady give an outstanding performance on Friday.
Whiskey for a Lady was a concert held by the Kansas Free for Arts organization to help fund their first annual Half Way to Everywhere festival. Friday nights concert was a great time with a silent auction a raffle and an inspiring performance from the band. The band is considered part of the new grass genre but really is a mixture of many genres with the band stating they are more “gypsy punk thrash-grass”. Their music is definitely a breath of fresh air.
