The Emporia High baseball and softball teams will be hosting the Spartan Round Ball Classic Friday and Saturday.
The baseball games will be played at Sodens Grove. Emporia High will play Dodge City in the 6:30 game. Spartan Coach Anthony Markowitz is looking forward to the tournament.
In Fridays first game at 3pm Mill Valley plays Andover Central.
At 4:45p Garden City plays Maize South.
The softball tournament will be played at the Trusler Sports Complex, on Turnbull field. Emporia High will play Kapaun Mt. Carmel at 6pm. Lady Spartan Coach Troy Chapman says this will be a good test.
In the days first game at 3pm Dodge City plays Andover Central. At 4:30 Blue Valley Southwest plays Garden City.
