The Emporia State softball team kept their MIAA Tournament championship hopes alive with a walk-off 3-2 win over Pittsburg State Thursday.
Hannah Steeby drove in all 3 runs. Steeby hit a 2 run home run in the 3rd inning to tie the game. Steeby drove in the winning run with a single in the bottom of the 7th inning.
Emporia State will play Central Missouri Friday. Central Missouri was defeated by Central Oklahoma 11-4.
Emporia State will need to win 3 games Friday to advance to Saturdays Championship game.
Missouri Western out scored Washburn 4-1 in Thursdays final game.
Fridays schedule begins with Northeastern State playing Washburn.
