Emporia High golfer Gentry Scheve had another good day on the golf course Thursday. The Spartan Junior shot a 2 under par 70 to win the Junction City Invitational.
As a team the Spartans finished in 5th place behind Washburn Rural, Salina Central, Topeka Hayden and Manhattan.
Caleb Schmid finished in 18th place with an 82. Connor Hoyt shot a 85 and finished 23rd.
Emporia High is scheduled to host a tournament Monday at the Emporia Golf Course.
