The Emporia High boys tennis team finished in 5th place at the Centennial League tournament Monday.
Individually the doubles team of Cameron Kienholz and Taylor Moorman finished in 2nd place. They were defeated by Manhattans top doubles team 8-6 in the Championship match.
Brendon Kienholz and Wyatt Cahoone finished in 11th place.
In singles play Josh Stuttler finished in 8th place and Fernando Becerra finished in 14th place. Manhattan won their 5th consecutive league title. Washburn Rural finished 2nd and Topeka Seaman 3rd.
Emporia High will be hosting a regional tournament on Friday.
