American Legion No. 5 held a potato bar fundraiser to help fund the Emporia’s Legion baseball team on Saturday.
The fundraiser saw huge success with the room being completely full and a line that went out into the hall. The potato bar is the main fundraiser for the Legion baseball team covering costs such as travel, paying umpires, and better equipment. According to baseball coach Anthony Markowitz, the fundraiser is a great experience for the kids on the team.
