The Emporia State softball team swept a doubleheader from Northwest Missouri State Friday.
The Lady Hornets won the first game of the doubleheader 11-3. Hannah Steeby was 3 for 4 with 4 RBI. Gaby Biondo was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI.
Emporia State won the 2nd game 10-0. Kelsey Phillips hit a 2 run home run, part of 4 run 2nd inning. Gabby Biondo drove in 2 runs with a triple, part of a 3 run 3rd inning. Brylie Bassett hit a solo home run in the 4th inning.
The Lady Hornets close out the regular season at Missouri Western Saturday.
