The Emporia High girls swim and dive team finished in 4th place out of 10 teams in the Emporia Invitational Thursday.
The Lady Spartans dominated diving, Haylee Weiss finished in 1st place, breaking her school record, Karalyn Karjala was 2nd and Cadance Vincent 3rd.
Ashlyn Alingh finished 3rd in the 200 IM and 4th in the 100 butterfly, both with consideration times for state.
Kaylen Hart finished 3rd in the 500 free with a consideration time for state.
The 400 free relay team of Kelsey Boettcher, Ashlyn Alingh, Hailey Williams and Kaylen Hart finished in 3rd place.
Derby finished in 1st place, McPherson 2nd and Seaman 3rd.
