The Emporia Board of Education approved the hiring of Ashley Nehls as the new volleyball coach at Emporia High School.
This will be the second time that Nehls has been the head volleyball coach at Emporia High School. She was the head coach in 2009.
Nehls has spent the last 2 years as the head volleyball coach at William Woods University. She said it was the right time to make a move.
Coach Nehls says she cant wait to begin working with the Emporia High Volleyball team.
Nehls takes over for Kaitlyn Just who stepped down after 3 seasons.
