The Emporia High girls swim and dive team finished in 6th place out of 15 teams at the Topeka West Invitational Tuesday.
In the diving competition Haylee Weiss finished in 1st place. Karalyn Karjala finished 3rd and Cadance Vincent finished 4th.
In the pool Ashlyn Alingh finished in 3rd place in the 100 butterfly. She finished 8th in the 200 IM but did improve her consideration time for state.
Kaylen Hart improved consideration times in the 200 free and 500 free.
The 200 free relay team of Kaylen Hart, Ashlyn Alingh, Kelsey Boettcher and Hailey Williams finished 5th with a state consideration time.
The Emporia High swim and dive team will host a meet Thursday.
