Two people were arrested in Greenwood County last week on suspicion of drug activity, weapons violations and identity theft.
The Sheriff’s Office says a traffic stop April 17 led to the initial arrest of Raina Schwartz-Johnson, age 40, and Frederick Doffing, age 45. Deputies and detectives, both from Greenwood County and other unspecified agencies, then went to a house in Eureka to serve a search warrant.
Both were later booked on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and depressants, as well as identity theft for manufacturing false identifications, felon in possession of a firearm, possession of stolen property and other violations. Formal charges are pending.
Further case details have not been announced.
Schwartz-Johnson has battery and drug convictions in Sedgwick County from earlier this decade, according to the Kansas Department of Corrections. Doffing was convicted on numerous theft, burglary, criminal damage and drug possession charges in Sedgwick County in 1999.
