The Emporia High boys golf team finished in 2nd place at the Salina South Invitational Friday.
The Spartans finish with a 310, 1 stroke back of Salina South and 1 stroke in front of Salina Central.
Individually Gentry Scheve shot an even par 70 and finished in 2 place. 4 strokes back of the medalist, Parker Renz of Salina South, who shot a 66.
Caleb Schmid finished in 5th place with a 75. Connor Hoyt shot a 82 and finished 17th. Garyn Fischer shot a 83 and finished in 19th place.
The Emporia High golfers play in the Topeka West Invitational Monday.
