With Easter just on the horizon this weekend, two things are certain: there will be many Easter egg hunts and numerous Easter church services.
One particular church; however, the Messiah Lutheran Church will hold an outdoor service at the Lyon County Fairgrounds. Pastor Norbert Tegtmeier has details:
Pastor Tegtmeier says this is the 10th year for the special service at the Fairgrounds, but its roots come from the 1970s when the church held the event at the old drive-in theatre west of town.
Pastor Tegtmeier also remarks that this annual service is a great opportunity for the church and the community.
The service will begin at 8:30 am and last roughly thirty minutes. Once again, 14 KVOE, 96.9 FM and KVOE.com will carry the service. For more information, call the Messiah Lutheran Church at (620) 342-8181.
