The Emporia High softball team split their doubleheader with Topeka West Thursday.
The Lady Spartans won the first game 6-3. They scored 3 of the runs in the 1st inning.
Topeka West won the 2nd game 6-5. West scored 3 runs in the 2nd and added 3 more runs in the 6th. The Emporia High softball team is now 7-5. They are scheduled to play at Junction City on Tuesday.
