The Emporia State football team held their spring game Saturday. Team Swarm won 7-0.
Running back Calvin Boyce scored the lone touchdown. Receiver Corey Thomas was named the offensive MVP. Jahmek Murphy was the defensive MVP. Coach Garin Higgins was also impressed by several other performances.
Defensive back Jordan Wallace said the spring game was like the practices.
Receiver Cole Schumacher says it was a productive game and has been a productive spring.
The Emporia State football team has 2 more practices left this spring. The will kick-off the season September 5th when they host Northeastern State.
