The Emporia High girls and boys track teams finished in 9th place at the Lawrence Free State Barriers meet Friday.
Emporia High had 2 first place finishes. Beth Schwerdtfeger won the long jump. She also placed 2nd in the triple jump and 100 hurdles. Taylor Milleson took first in the shot put.
The Emporia High track teams will be going to the KU Relays next week.
