Emporia Main Street is just about ready for its 20th annual rendition of The Taste on Saturday.
Community Outreach Coordinator Jessica Buchholz says over 20 vendors are coming to White Auditorium from across Kansas, including breweries, wineries, distilleries and specialty food shops.
Less than 10 tickets are left for the VIP event, which features a four-course dinner created by the Flint Hills Technical College Culinary Arts department as well as two drinks. That begins at 5 pm and gives participants all access to the Classic Taste, which begins at 6:30 pm.
Less than 50 tickets are left for the Classic Taste.
All ticketholders must be at least 21 to take part. Buchholz says people need to go online to www.emporiamainstreet.com until 5 pm Friday to get tickets. After that, they will need to get those at the door.
