The Emporia State baseball team hosts Pittsburg State in the first game of a 3 game series Friday. They also welcome back former Head Coach Bob Fornelli.
Emporia State is tied for 2nd place in the MIAA Standings. Pittsburg State is tied for 7th place. Outfielder Mitch Sloan says everyone understands how important this series is.
First pitch is set for 6pm at Glennen Field. The game will be broadcast on MIX 104.9.The two teams will play again Saturday at 1pm and Sunday at 12pm.
