The Detroit Tigers scored 5 runs in the 7th inning on the way to a 7-4 win over the Kansas City Royals Saturday.
Whit Merrifield hit a solo home run in the 6th inning. In the top of the 7th Jorge Soler hit a solo home run and Hunter Dozier hit a 2 run home run to give the Royals a 4-2 lead. Detroit retook the lead with 5 runs in the bottom of the 7th.
The Royals will try to end a 5 game losing skid Sunday when the play the Detroit Tigers. Brad Keller will be the starting pitcher with first pitch a 12:10pm. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
